Why Are There Two BCs Listed?
In addition to the classic BCs referenced to the G1 standard, G7 referenced
BCs are now available for all Berger bullets that have boat tails. A G7 BC is
desirable for long range bullets because there is less variation with a G7
BC as the velocity of the bullet changes. When used with a suitable ballistics
program, G7 BCs will produce more accurate trajectory predictions than a G1
BC because the G7 BC is more constant for the flight of the bullet.

The velocity dependence problem of the old G1 BC has caused a lot of confusion and lead to inaccurate ballistic analysis and trajectory predictions in the past. The switch to G7 referenced BCs may be difficult to get used to at first because the numeric value of the BC is so different.
