Company Vision
Eric Stecker, Master Bulletsmith & Executive Vice President

I have enjoyed many years working for Walt learning about bullets, jackets, shooting, consistency, accuracy, running a business, and doing what is right instead of what is easy. For those of you who know Walt Berger you know that he is a man that believes strongly in doing his best in all things. I have heard him say many times that "if it is worth doing, then it is worth doing right." This idea is at the very core of Berger Bullets. Every day we are working to make the most consistent and accurate bullets available. Walt taught me never to be satisfied with anything less than my best effort. I have no intention of letting him down.
Berger Bullets has gone through many changes over the years in our constant evolution toward creating consistent bullets. Walt started out making bullets by accurizing all of his jackets. This changed when the J4 Precision Jackets became available. He also swaged cores using hand presses. This changed when he purchased lead core swaging machines that greatly improved the consistency of the cores. As the demand for Berger Bullets grew Walt recognized that technology had advanced to the point where the hand presses used to seat and point bullets could be automated while still maintaining the ability to sense pressure and reject bullets that were outside of our tolerance. This decision to make our first automated bullet machine resulted in the realization that an automated process that is properly designed, built and monitored can produce bullets that are more consistent than a person operating a hand press. Walt had again evolved our process to produce more consistent bullets.
